TJ Samuelu, Outreach Ministry Pastor
TJ has been with
the Common Ground team now for 3 years working in different roles such as Youth Mentor, Youth Ministry Coordinator, and
Carpenter's Garage Manager. TJ received his Business Administration and Bible ministry degree at Cascade College
in 2005, before coming on board here at the ministry. He was born and raised in Vancouver, WA where he played
every sport under the sun. While in college he focused on soccer, basketball, and track-and-field. TJ hopes to
utilize his time in sports and business and real world sense towards ministering to youth.
TJ visited Samoa during the summer of 2005, where he discovered a real passion for his
culture and people. He found himself wishing that his people could also have the same opportunities with which he had
been blessed. For TJ working at Common Ground is a great opportunity to continue growing his passion and skills in his
life..."It is great experience to use what I went to school for, to be involved in business and involved in
ministry, and to get to impact youth's lives in a way I have not been able to before through sport." Next to
his relationship with God, family is the most important thing to TJ. He was married this past August 2007 to the love of his
life, Courtney!
